If you’re selling on Amazon and want to see better results before Q4 hits, you don’t have to redo everything to make improvements. Sometimes, small tweaks are all you need to boost visibility, improve conversions, and increase sales.
In this post, I’m sharing seven quick wins you can work on right now – even if you’re short on time.
1. Optimise Your Product Titles
Your product title is one of the most important parts of your listing for both Amazon’s algorithm and potential customers.
- Front-load your most important keywords so customers see them immediately.
- Make sure your title is clear, relevant, and describes exactly what’s on offer.
- Avoid unnecessary filler words – clarity is more important than cramming in every keyword.
2. Upgrade Your Images
Your main image drives clicks from search results. If it’s not clear, professional, and appealing, customers are less likely to click through.
- Use a high-quality, well-lit main image that clearly shows the product on a plain white background.
- Add lifestyle images to show your product in use and help customers visualise owning it.
- Include images that answer common questions about size, features, or usage.
- Use customer reviews to identify what buyers value most, then make sure your images highlight those points.
3. Improve Your Bullet Points
Bullet points are prime selling space, but they often get overlooked.
- Lead with the benefits, not just the features.
- Use formatting that’s easy to skim – capitalised headers followed by short, snappy explanations.
- Answer common objections and make the decision to buy as easy as possible.
4. Refresh Your Backend Keywords
Backend keywords (search terms) help Amazon understand your product and decide where to show it in search results.
- Make sure they’re filled in and up to date.
- Avoid repeating keywords already used in your title or bullets – use this space for relevant terms you haven’t used elsewhere.
- Think about seasonal or trending terms that might be relevant right now.
5. Review Your Pricing and Fees
Your pricing should be competitive but also reflect the value of your product. Being the cheapest isn’t always the best approach – in fact, it can sometimes work against you.
- Compare your pricing with competitors who have similar quality and positioning.
- Check your FBA fees – make sure product size, weight, and category details are correct to avoid overpaying.
- Resolve any fee discrepancies now, before the higher sales volumes of Q4 make the costs add up.
6. Optimise Your Fulfilment Options
How your product is fulfilled can make a big difference to your conversion rate.
- If you’re not already using FBA, consider switching or offering both FBA and FBM.
- Faster, more reliable delivery can help you win the Buy Box.
- Having both fulfilment options can protect your sales if you run out of FBA stock – especially important during Q4 when inbound shipping times are longer.
7. Check and Refine Your Ads
If you’re running ads, now’s the time to review their performance.
- Look at what’s working and increase bids or budgets for top performers.
- Pause or adjust underperforming campaigns.
- Test new ad formats like Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display to expand your reach.
- If you’re not running ads yet, consider starting with a small, targeted budget – but only once your listing is fully optimised.
Small Tweaks, Big Results
You don’t need to do all seven of these at once. Choose the ones that will have the biggest impact for your products and tackle them in the time you have available.
Making improvements now will not only help you in Q4, but will also give you a stronger foundation for next year.
