Have you thought about joining my online course, but can’t quite make up your mind?

I totally get it. I usually sign up for 1-2 courses a year and spend weeks deliberating before making a decision.

It’s important to think it through and I want you to be happy that you only sign up for one of my courses if you’re sure it’s what you need.

With that in mind, here are some of the common concerns I hear – with my honest response.

I really hope it helps you.

1. I can’t afford it

I’ve made the courses as affordable as I can, but I know it’s still not an insignificant amount of money.  All I can really say here is that you need to look at it as an investment.

Creating a product to sell will cost you money (I’d love to tell you how much, but it’s like how long is a piece of string!) and I believe that working through the course and knowing the steps to take, in which order, can actually help save you money – and time.

In that case, you may prefer to sign up for the Launch It! mini-course.  For just £99 you’ll get access to the first two modules of Launch It! (where all the validation happens).

If you then decide your idea has potential, you can upgrade and receive the final modules.

Even going through the product validation course and realising that actually your product might not be profitable could potentially save you a lot of time and money, if it makes you pause and rethink your idea, before investing in stock you struggle to sell.

I also think it’s a great investment – in yourself and your business.  Not only will you learn new skills, once you know how to create and launch a profitable product you can repeat the process time and time again.

2. I don’t have enough time

If you’re serious about creating a physical product it will take some time and effort. There’s really no way around it.

However, I have done all I can to help you out here.

You’ve probably heard me say this before, but I spent / wasted a lot of time when I started out, just trying to figure everything out.  What to do, where to look, in what order, etc.

I’ve removed all of that for you and only included the stuff you need to know, broken down into simple, actionable steps.

The courses have been designed with short modules and simple tasks that can be broken down into really small pieces (and small chunks of time).

Every video is 20 minutes, or less, and while there are slides, the content works as audio alone – so you can just listen along while you’re cooking, driving, walking, etc, if that makes it easier to fit in.

The best thing is – you get lifetime access – so there really is no rush.

3. I don’t know if it’s right for me

Ok, so, here’s who I think it’s right for:

  • You’ve thought about selling your own products, so you can make some income working flexibly from home.  (Perhaps you’re a parent looking to start something new.  Or maybe you want to try something in addition to your current job.)
  • You already have a service-based business and would like to add something new to the mix.
  • You’re prepared to do a little work, every day, towards making your idea a reality.

You don’t need any specific experience, or any software, or equipment – nothing but your time and a passion to get your product into the world!

4. It’s not the right time for me

So if not now, when?

Seriously, when is the right time?  I’m not sure there ever is a perfect, or right time to do most things.  Life just somehow gets in the way. (I never planned to write this at my kitchen table, after a full day homeschooling my kids, but here we are!)  But once you decide to do something, and you take those first few steps, you start to build momentum and it almost becomes easier to keep going than it is to stop.

The thing is, the sooner you launch your product the sooner you can sell it, the sooner you can start to make money from it and the sooner people can benefit from what you have to offer. With all that in mind, I’d say there’s never a perfect time, so how about now?!

5. I want to launch a product – but I don’t know what

This is where you and I may have to disagree.  🙂 I am certain you have an idea in you! So certain in fact that I’m offering a free 20-minute call to get you started once you sign up. You can run your ideas by me for some input, or if you we can brainstorm them together.  Either way, I am sure you have something other people will want and need to buy from you!

The first place to start is with this podcast episode (there’s a blog post if you prefer).

Chances are, if you’ve read this far, it’s for a reason. I think there’s definitely an idea inside you – even if you’re not quite ready to move forward with it yet.  If you want to talk it through, you can also book a call with me.

I hope this helps you. If you have a question or concern that I haven’t answered then just get in touch and I’ll do my best to help you out.
