Welcome to the Bring Your Product Ideas to Life podcast, practical advice and inspiration to help you create and sell your own physical products. Here is your host Vicki Weinberg.

Hi, and welcome to Bring your Product Ideas to Life. This is the podcast for you. If you have an idea for our product that you'd like to create and sell, and you need some help to get started, or perhaps you've started creating or selling your products and need a bit more help and guidance, or perhaps you're just like the idea of having a product to sell, but you haven't gotten started yet, but perhaps you don't even have an idea yet. All of that is fine and I can help you out with all of this. So my name's Vicki Weinberg and I have my own brand of baby products that I launched in 2016. When I did this, I also launched a blog, to sort of chronical what I was doing and what was working and what wasn't. And through this I've now also started working with clients every day on creating and selling their own products.

And I really like working with people right at the beginning of their Product journeys, because I can really, you know, I still feel like I'm quite early on and I can really relate to where people are. So I'll share my story in more detail in a future episode but my inspiration for this podcast is really that when I did get started, I found like everyone else, that I was looking at for advice, was really far ahead of me. And I felt like they just couldn't relate. I found everything to be really confusing. I was seeing all sorts of different information and so the process of launching a product took me way longer than it should of done and now with a few years in, I know it doesn't have to be that way, and I really want to help you to do the same.

So I'm going to feature a lots of practical actionable advice or things you can go away and do to help you move your product ideas forward. Plus, we're going to have lots of inspirational guests, so small businesses or solopreneurs who have created their own product, and are selling it and they're going to share their advice and tips of you as well. So since launching my product, I have gained so much confidence because it is hard. It's overwhelming is confusing. It takes a lot of time. I didn't know what I was doing. And I'm so proud that I've done it, and I really want to do the same for you. And so just to reassure you, I'm going to be here with you through all of it.
